How The Legacy Began-

As a young child, I was always intrigued by fashion. Flipping through fashion magazines and catalogs, clipping and cutting out my favorite pages and watching my favorite fashion tv shows.  My twin sister and I started to create our own clothing for our baby dolls and barbies -too designing and creating our clothes that we would wear.

Once I attended high school, I so passionate about fashion that I had taken a sewing class which lead to our high school fashion show, that showcased clothing that we had created for the runway. I was so nervous, but I had won 4th place, I was so delighted! It was more than a wonderful experience. A greater passion had developed within me. This is when I knew I wanted to have my own Fashion Legacy one day.

Later, in life as a young mom I had my oldest son. He inspired me so much, I was able to create my brands name through the precious moments I shared with him. He's my greatest joy.

As I held my son every night in my arms, it was so surreal. I would write poems of how I treasured every little MOMENT of him and how delicate he was to me.

“He's my Pure angle. His Energy is so joyful to me. His Authentic love for mommy is dear to me. His Radiant laugh & giggles tickled me. His bossy little moods are so Iconic to me. He is one a kind and Exclusively mine”. That is how my brand name .PEARIE. was created.

As life continued, I worked many jobs, where I received certifications for the work field I had worked in. I started designing several T-shirts for my colleagues for the occupations they fulfilled. My business was blowing up. Now I was working 2 jobs but designing clothing was the best one! As time grew by, my 9-5 started to wash way, my passion just wasn't there any longer. Then the light bulb lit up for me.

By choice, I started working from home full-time, designing and creating custom clothing for others. After a while I eagerly and relentlessly spoke my heart out to God that I really wanted to start my Own Fashion Brand. Shortly after, I was granted God's blessing to pursue my purpose, I was nervous, second guessing every little thing but I was led by Faith and that Trust within God carried me to perform one of my Greatest Gift's.

So, I did just that. I have a craze for streetwear fashion so I reached for my old sketch book that had all of my designs that I created for .PEARIE. and always wanted to create. Things just started to fall in place, one step after another. One t-shirt, One jacket, and One hat at a time. 

It was very much, a lot of hard work starting off, and I still have a long road ahead of me. But I told myself to “Believe in my Legacy and Trust the Journey."  And this is my message to everyone that supports my brand. I am encouraging you All to Build your Dreams and Leave a Legacy.  So, “Believe Bravely, Build Boldy and Become Legendary" for whatever journey you desire to embrace.
